Breaking Bread For 2.3.21

Scripture

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:10-11 NIV

Reflection

Look to see your purpose, calling and election— then live to fulfill these expectations as the Lord has called you to do. We have all been called to do certain things in life; it is up to us to listen, act, and do our best to serve our Heavenly Father and His children. When we faithfully and obediently march for His cause and walk on His path, His hand always guides us and we won’t stumble. It’s when we choose to live our own lives, separate from His direction that we always fall on our face…repeatedly.

I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of wrestling with God. I’d rather walk in peace with Him. All of these problems that we face is because we keep wrestling with Him. Some of us are busy pursuing someone else’s calling and election. Some of us are meddling in the affairs of others instead of staying in our own lane. Keep your eyes on God, your ears tuned into His voice, and your spirit firmly linked to His. We can’t stumble when His Hand is guiding us.

Prayer

Father, let me first start by saying thank you Lord for all You do— past, present and future. Father this is the time for me to confirm my calling and election. Let me stand firm in the knowledge and wisdom of Your plan for me. I want to serve You fully, purposely and purposefully. I want to do right by You. I want to live the life of honor that best reflects You. Never do I want You disappointed in me Father. In Your Name I pray and praise. Amen.

Love always,

Natasha

Breaking Bread for 2.3.20

Scripture

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:10-11

Reflection

Look to see your purpose, calling and election. Then live to fulfill these expectations as the Lord has called you to do. We have all been called to do certain things in life; it is up to us to listen, act, and do our best to serve our heavenly Father and His children.

When we march in His cause, walk on His path, His hand always guides us—and we won’t stumble. It’s when we choose to live our own lives, separate from His direction, that we will find ourselves always falling on our face—repeatedly. This life is not possible without Him, so trying to navigate it without Him is plain ignorance and foolishness.

Start your day and move through it inquiring and following the lead, and guidance, of God. We are here to glorify Him, so if your life isn’t doing that right now—turn to Him for a realignment. Our daily walk is to mirror His and His son Jesus, whom He empowered to demonstrate the walk in a way that we could better comprehend and emulate.

Generation to generation, God has been refining and sharpening the message to make it clearer for all to understand. Through our understanding there is an expectation that we would be transformed through our daily walk. When you know what God has called on you to do, and why, then you’re more mindful and intentional with each step that you take. Speak to God today and gain the clarity and confirmation that you need, to ensure that you’re on the right path and going at the right pace. And if you’re not, that you can quickly and confidently realign to where you’re supposed to be. Don’t be satisfied in the wrong. If it’s not right, then get it right. Are you ready to stop stumbling and falling?

Prayer

Father, let me first start by saying thank you Lord for all You do, past, present, and future. Father this is the time for me to confirm my calling and election. Let me stand firm in the knowledge and wisdom of Your plan for me.

I want to serve You fully, purposely and purposefully Lord. I want to do right by You. I want to live the life of honor that best reflects and glorifies You. Never do I want You disappointed in me Father. I want to be in perfect alignment with You, focused on Your assignment and not mine.

Am I doing what You have called on me to do? Is my daily walk glorifying You or ruining Your reputation? When Your children see and speak to me, do they see and hear You, or someone else?

Align me to only pursue and follow through with those things that are aligned with the mission and legacy, as You see it. If my vision is unclear, please fix my lens, so there is no confusion. I thank You now for the blessings coming my way. I embrace them now knowing my future testimony will be grand, and will bring more people back with opened arms and hearts, praising You. In Your name I pray. Giving You all the glory and praise. Amen.
