Saturday Recap: Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 6/2/14 to 6/6/14

Happy Saturday family!

This week was rough for me personally. Walter W. Jackson II, a friend and colleague passed away last Saturday. He was one of my husband’s employees and was a true reflection of God’s Light. He will be forever missed, but instead of sorrow we will honor him and his legacy through our work in underserved communities, and by coming together as a village for his three children. Walter’s sudden passing at the young age of 46 serves as a reminder that we all must cherish and take full advantage of every minute of every day. Walter spent his last day with his children, and passed away while walking his dog.

Live your life fully.

I posted messages this week that helped me through this troubling experience. If you missed any of this week’s messages or you want to go back and re-read any of them, here’s your opportunity. Below please find a recap of this week’s posts. Please share these posts with others, and also take a few moments to provide me feedback. Thank you.

Be grateful for this day because it wasn’t promised, and neither is tomorrow, so live each day to the fullest and with gratitude for your blessings.

Today I honor the life and legacy of David Mitchell, who was promoted by God on April 15, 2014. Today his funeral service will be held in Inglewood, California. I pray that my friend Carman (his daughter) and her daughter, Keilana (his grand daughter), his wife Eloyce, and the rest of their family stays lifted up by God’s love and their memories of David. Please say a prayer for the Mitchell family.

Saturday Recap: Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 2/24/14 to 2/28/14

Happy Saturday family!

Happy March 1st! I can’t believe that I’m saying that already. I hope that you had a productive and joy-filled day and week. I hope that your troubles are not your focus. I hope your focus is on what greatness has already taken place in your life, and the amazing things that are still to come. I hope your focus is on the light, even in darkness.

This past week we really looked at ourselves and our relationship with God. We looked deep within to see how much we truly love God—through our obedience, and how much we don’t love Him—through our disobedience. If you missed one or more days, or just feel the need to return to one of the posts, below you will find the links for each day. Remember to read slowly the parts that hit home with you, and the parts that you normally shy away from.

Saturday Recap: Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 2/17/14 to 2/21/14

Happy Saturday family!

We’re several days shy of March. Can you believe that Spring is right around the corner? Amazing. This just reinforces why we must make the most of each day, because we can’t make up for the lost ones!

This past week we read, prayed on, and discussed the act of confessing our sins, acting immediately when God calls on us, and living holy as God is holy. If you missed one or more days, or just feel the need to return to one of the posts, below you will find the links for each day. Read slowly the parts that hit home with you. Read slowly the parts that you normally shy away from.

Change is always awkward and difficult. My husband always says that people don’t change in good times, we change in bad times. We change when the discomfort has become too intense. So read the parts slowly and embrace your change.

 Love,
 Natasha

Saturday Recap: Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 2/10/14 to 2/14/14

Happy Saturday family!

Can you believe that we’re already in the middle of February? Times flies, so we must remember to make the most of each day because we can’t turn back the hands of time. Whatever God has touched your heart or whispered to you to do, you need to do it immediately and not when you think the time is right. If you have something that you need to repent to God, then do it now. If there is something that you need to repent and atone for to another person, then what are you waiting for? Repent so that you can move forward with your life.

How many times have you or someone you know (or heard of) had regrets because the moment slipped by, or someone passed away before you could apologize for something you did or said to them?

This past week we read, prayed on, and discussed repentance and revival within our lives, churches, and communities. If you missed one or more days, or just feel the need to return to one of the posts, below you will find the links for each day. Read slowly the parts that hit home with you. Read slowly the parts that you normally shy away from. If you normally have issues with the idea of repenting your sins, then in those moments when I’m referring to this act, you need to read those words slowly so that they can really sink in.

God has a way of touching us where and how only He can, and in His touch, more love is expressed while more fear is extinguished. I hope that these posts help you in your journey. We’re all in this together.

 Love,
 Natasha
