Scripture

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.

— 2 Peter 1:5-9 CSB

Reflection

Humble yourself. Never forget who you are and to Whom you belong. We’re to stand tall in Him. We’re also supposed to actively demonstrate our commitment to the relationship that we have with God and our duties to be performed in the world. We’re told to create inside of us a lasagna of sorts. The base layer is faith, and then we’re to layer in goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, brotherly affection, and top it all off with love. These are the fruits that we would possess and share. The fruits of God’s tree. Possessing these qualities puts us in perfect alignment with Him. I don’t know about you, but there’s no other place where I would rather be than nestled in close to God.

Prayer

Father, I pray for the balance needed to be loving and loved to forgive others and myself, and to have control over my emotions and actions. I pray for the endurance to see through this marathon of ups and downs, and the knowledge to discern the pattern of the enemy. I thank You now for these blessings. Amen.

And with that family, I pray that you are blessed, that you see and embrace your blessings, and that you are a blessing to others.

Special Note

Today’s message is an excerpt from Day 187 in my book, Seek Him, Volume 2: Going Beyond Your Spiritual Comfort Zone. The theme of the message is “Absolution.” You can acquire this book, the companion workbook, and the other books that make up the Seek Him series by searching for their titles online and at local retailers.

Scripture

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

Isaiah 1:18

Reflection

We may obsess over our sins and worry whether or not God has or will ever forgive us. God has always said that if we repent, ask for forgiveness, and not repeat the sin, then we are not only forgiven, but He moves on as though we never disappointed Him. There are things that we struggle to forgive ourselves for. Let go. God did. You keep holding on to something that has been reconciled by Him. Let go. If you still haven’t forgiven someone for hurting you, pray for the strength and courage to forgive, and then let it go so that your healing can begin. The peace that will ultimately enshroud you will be your reassurance that all is well. Let go!

Prayer

Father, heal me, protect me, and forgive me for my wrongdoings. Help me to let go, forgive, and accept forgiveness. In Jesus’ Name, I humbly pray. Amen.

And with that family, I pray that you are blessed, that you see and embrace your blessings, and that you are a blessing to others.

I love you!

Special Note

Today’s message is an excerpt from Day 168 in my book, Seek Him, Volume 2: Going Beyond Your Spiritual Comfort Zone. The theme of the message is “No Limits.” You can acquire this book, the companion workbook, and the other books that make up the Seek Him series by searching for their titles online and at local retailers.

Scripture

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

Daniel 2:20-22 KJV

Reflection

We have to be connected and present to notice that times and seasons are changing; we have to be willing to change and grow with them. We can’t be concerned with the how, when, what, or why —just let God do what He does. The only limits to what you can receive in life are the ones that you place upon yourself by thinking you can overrule or rush His will. When we walk courageously, fearlessly, respectfully, and selflessly with God — there are no limits — because He always provides the Gate.

Prayer

Father, today I open my heart and mind to receive all that You have for me. I will be present and willing to accept today’s lessons and blessings, not concerned about yesterday or tomorrow. I trust that You are with me directing my steps. Thank You for helping me grow in every area of my life. Amen.

And with that family, I pray that you are blessed, that you see and embrace your blessings, and that you are a blessing to others.

Lovingly your sister in Christ,

Natasha

Seek Him

Today’s message comes from my Seek Him book series. We’re looking at Day 4 from Seek Him, Volume 1: Testing Your Spiritual Comfort Zone. The theme for Day 4 is “He is All”. Let’s break bread!

Scripture

I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God but Me. I will strengthen you, though you do not know Me, so that all may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is no one but Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:5-6 HCSB

Reflection

Did God make this crystal clear? You can read it twenty thousand times and it will still be as clear as the first time. He is IS. He is ALL. He is everything good, great, and special. He is God. None before, none during, and none after. He has you.

Prayer

Father, these words, written in the book of Isaiah I believe to be true. I don’t want to ever consider otherwise. I don’t ever again want to question the when, where, why, who, and how when it comes to You. I want to be free and I know that freedom is only possible in and through You. You are all-in-all. My journey will only be successful when I live like You, believing that I am You and You are me. Help me to stop looking elsewhere and start focusing only on You. In Jesus’ Name, I humbly pray. Amen.

Speak Your Truth

There is a section in my Seek Him books that help guide you to speaking your truth. Each book has a different set of prompts to help through your spiritual growth and realignment. Let’s try out the Seek Him, Volume 1 prompts today. I will say each phrase and I want you to repeat the phrase and then speak the first words that come to your mind and heart. If you haven’t purchased Seek Him, Volume 1, you can always write these down in a notebook or journal.

I feel _____

I am _____

I believe _____

I am grateful for _____

I will improve _____

I am proud of myself because ____

I will stay out of My/God’s way by _____

Today I will focus more on ____

And focus less on ____

Today I will ___

Go Deeper

When you are ready to go deeper, please refer to Day 4 in Seek Him: Workbook 1. Yes, each Seek Him book has a corresponding workbook, designed to guide you deeper in your spiritual exploration and study. The workbooks can be standalone books but I wrote them to coincide with each Seek Him lesson, to help you test, go beyond, and never return to your spiritual comfort zone. If you’re interested in investing in the Seek Him book series, you can visit DOMELifePublishing.com or visit Bookshop.org, or global retailers like Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Amazon, and others.

I hope that today’s message touched your heart and inspired you in some way. I pray that you are blessed, that you see and embrace your blessings, and that you are a blessing to others!

Love,

Natasha
