Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 11.22.11

Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth.
They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning.

Jeremiah 9:5

Pray
Father hold my tongue if it utters anything that goes against You. Make me stop before I speak ill will towards anyone. Cleanse my mind of wrong thoughts. Let Your light serve as my source of energy; always recharging me. Heal me father. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
It is the insecure and fearful who lie, cheat and steal. They are weak and weak-minded. They waste their energy trying to remember their lies and trying to cover up their deception. They wither away pretending to be someone other than who they are, and they hide from being who they were made to be. It takes a strong and brave person to see and embrace the light that makes them amazing and special. Let us find and embrace our strength and push past our fears and weaknesses.

Love,

Natasha
